Rectangular pianoforte, built by William Stodart in London, c. 1813, it is attributed to Mariquita Sanchez de Thompson de Mendeville.
The instrument is representative of the English school of the development of the pianoforte.
Its inscription indicates that the instrument was built in London but distributed in Argentina by parents of the builder, who owned a music shop in Buenos Aires in those days.
The intervention was held by Jorge Gonzalez and Maria Paula Olabarrieta in 2006.
